I just put it all together last weekend so there are still some bugs to be worked out, but if you have any suggestions for design/format/ease-of-use/drip coffee vs. americano: I’m all ears.

We managed to make it over to the park yesterday before church for a quick photoshoot. I saw a tree that was just amazing with fall color so I convinced Marsha to play the part of my model (which she did an excellent job, by the way).

This shot is one of my personal favs, though I’m not really sure why. There’s a sort of mystery about it that gets to me I think. There are many more shots that may grace this blog one of these days, but for now this will have to do! (Let me know what you think)

And of course! everyone knows that kittens don’t eat with their hands,,,er, paws,,,so Tucker decided to eat his PB&J face first!

Autumn is by far the best time of year: the colors start changing, the weather is perfectly cool, and the air is crisp. Just right for grabbing a cup of coffee and digging into a good book, or going out for a walk and feeling confident that you won’t return drenched in sweat and passing out from heatstroke.

I’m up here in Crested Butte, probably one of THE most beautiful towns I have ever spent time in, and a few days ago I noticed the trees on the mountainside begin their transformation from green to stunning shades of yellow, orange, and red. I just knew that in short time I would have the ideal time and location to capture Colorado in all of its Fall glory.

But when I arrived at work today I was greet with rain,,,later turning into a mixture of sleet and hail,,,and as I arrived home this afternoon I was looking at a full-blown snowfall. Don’t get me wrong, snow is very pretty in its own right, but I was really looking forward to Fall! Here are a couple pictures from outside my house:

My beautiful bride doesn’t get nearly enough face time on my blog! We took a break from our activities to take a short walk to the park and have some fun with a photoshoot, something we haven’t done in quite a while.

So, for the first time in a long time I remembered to take my camera with me just in case I saw something on the way to work. Well, it just so happens that I had another beautiful sunrise to see when I got there. So this is what I see just about every day. A little fog at the base of the mountains, some horses grazing in the field, and the sun’s rays peeking over the mountaintops.

Some days(or most) when I see this I feel like getting back into my car and taking off for the mountaintop! Who needs to work anyway?
