Summer is over,,,and Autumn was barely here,,,

This is what happened today:::

Autumn is by far the best time of year: the colors start changing, the weather is perfectly cool, and the air is crisp. Just right for grabbing a cup of coffee and digging into a good book, or going out for a walk and feeling confident that you won’t return drenched in sweat and passing out from heatstroke.

I’m up here in Crested Butte, probably one of THE most beautiful towns I have ever spent time in, and a few days ago I noticed the trees on the mountainside begin their transformation from green to stunning shades of yellow, orange, and red. I just knew that in short time I would have the ideal time and location to capture Colorado in all of its Fall glory.

But when I arrived at work today I was greet with rain,,,later turning into a mixture of sleet and hail,,,and as I arrived home this afternoon I was looking at a full-blown snowfall. Don’t get me wrong, snow is very pretty in its own right, but I was really looking forward to Fall! Here are a couple pictures from outside my house:
